The Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge is a series of meetups preceding the annual Kyiv Tech Hub final conference.
In the years 2019-2020, we will carry out 17 meetings and conferences in various regions of Ukraine as part of a wider project entitled „Support for Ukrainian SMEs, in particular for startup projects”, under the operational control of the Cooperation Fund Foundation.
Meetups aim to reach the most promising startups not only from Kyiv but also from other regional centres, so as to give a chance to promote projects from every part of Ukraine.
So far in 2019, we have completed 6 meetups – in Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Lviv, and Odessa. The meetings were an opportunity to invite Polish venture capital funds as well as representatives of Polish business support institutions for the most enterprising environments in Ukraine.
The project also aims to deepen cooperation with local authorities to encourage them to develop good neighbour relations on the Poland-Ukraine route and to exchange positive experiences.
Among the startups selected in regional competitions during meetups by representatives of Polish venture capital funds, the best projects will take place at Kyiv Tech Hub on October 3, 2019.
In addition, by taking part in the project, you can gain a chance to establish invaluable relationships with Polish investors. You can present your startup and confront it with other projects and investors’ questions. Thanks to the substantive support of our team members, you can increase your competences and improve your own ideas through acceleration sessions. In addition, through the Startup Support Center, you can get acquainted with the rules of functioning and access of Ukrainian citizens to the Polish system of startup support and research and development projects.
